Stay around for The Ubud Writers Festival

Our retreat is perfectly timed just before Ubud Writers’ Festival. So after the retreat ends you could hang around in Ubud with your new writing pals and attend one of the world’s most celebrated writing festivals. It will be in its 20th anniversary year.

Retreat in a conscious Balinese village

You could be joining us at Bali Swasti, an Eco-Retreat in Ubud, just by Monkey Forest. Experience typical Javanese wooden huts that provide a comfortable and inspiring base to sleep, eat, heal, read and write. Food is prepared lovingly in the on-site café, with much coming from the nourishing soil in the organic garden.

Jaw-dropping Bali

Experience the majestic Mount Agung, vivid jungle, postcard waterfalls and tangible gratitude all around. Bali is one of life’s bucket-listers. If you plan to spend time in Bali around the retreat, we can show you all the unmissable magic.

Afternoons to write and relax

After morning workshops and an organic buffet lunch, sunny afternoons will be free to chill, muse, mingle and write. There’ll be opportunities to share your words, hear others and get 121 feedback. We’re serious about words but playful with it, so you’ll have a great time and we’ll all learn loads.

How to enter

One lucky winner will join us as our special writing retreat guest. The competition winner will receive full access including all workshops, accommodation, breakfast and lunch for the duration of the retreat. Plus, you’ll receive a one-hour 121 for dedicated feedback on anything you’re working on.

To enter, submit a maximum of 500 seriously playful words. Choose any format for your entry, but your entry must transmit a theme of love. Please include your name, date of birth, where in the world you live and an email address with your entry.

Send entries by email to: alsolost@foundforwords.com
